OLUFEMI OLAYEMI, Ph.D.

Executive Secretary

He is a young and energetic management scholar with over thirteen (13) years of research, teaching and consulting experience in both private and public organizations. He was once a visiting scholar at University of West of Scotland, Paisley, Scotland. Over the years, Olufemi as a management consultant has helped numerous corporate organizations to climb to the ladder of corporate success.Olufemi is an Alumnus of two prestigious Nigerian Universities, Ahmadu Bello University Zaria (ABU) and University of Lagos (UNILAG) where he obtained BSc. Business Administration, M.Sc. Management, and Ph.D. Business Administration - Management option degrees respectively. His areas of expertise include financial management, human resource management, start-up development and management, entrepreneurship development, business strategy, project management, business development and marketing. He is a gentle and a humble personality with a strong passion and interest in youth entrepreneurship development, youth empowerment and business development. Olufemi is a business coach and mentor to many upcoming youth and Nigerian entrepreneurs. He is happily married to Bunmi and they are blessed with four children.

Aims & Objectives

  • To empower, support and encourage young Nigerians in the participation of entrepreneurship through access to finance, mentorship, entrepreneurship training, networking and technical support.
  • To selflessly champion the cause of young entrepreneurs at the local, regional and national level, through engagement with governments, the media, the public, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • To raise and build future world-class entrepreneurship leaders that will create positive impact to Nigeria and the world socially and economically.
  • To collaborate with relevant government institutions and other organizations in proffering solutions to issues affecting young people in business in Nigeria.
  • To connect, unify and build the capacity of young entrepreneurs across Nigeria, so as to drive trade, advocate for change and enhance the entrepreneurship culture and ecosystem.
  • To be positioned as the sole representative of Nigerian young entrepreneurs in all negotiations’ and consultations with governments and their agencies on matters of policy affecting the conduct and practice of business and entrepreneurship in Nigeria.
  • To promote and protect the professional interests of all members of the organization.
  • To set and improve the standard of services being rendered by entrepreneurs to the general public and as well establish and maintain good relationship with the members of the public.
  • To advocate for policies conducive for creating a strong entrepreneurial culture and ecosystem.
